About Leda Nutrition
"LEDA Nutrition", started producing gluten and dairy free health food bars in 1996, to cater for the increasing dietary and allergenic requirements. Equally important to us was the growing number of health conscious consumers.
After much experimentation we developed our first range of gluten and dairy free snack bars - "Slim & Natural". These 90 gram bars revolutionised healthy snacking as we knew it, offering many health benefits and 97% fat free! Through using innovative techniques, we later introduced our gluten and dairy free LITE Bar range. The Lite bar has a fruit-filled centre, available in four delicious flavours. As we expanded and pursued new ideas, we added another creative line called the LEDA Bar - a nourishing 85 gram slice, ideally broken in two and eaten as a two-pack-snack.
In 2005 we launched the gluten and dairy free Leda
"Multipacks" . These products continue to meet strong
demand so we have had to increase our factory space to manage!
Then
again in 2006 we created the Ultimate Chocolate biscuit, launching two lines
"Choculence" and "Minton". These
products alone have seen the emergence of a new gluten free
era regarding product Innovation!
In 2000, LEDA Nutrition was awarded the inaugural winner of the "Queensland Supermarket Product of the Year" by the Qld Grocery Industry Association and State Development. We were thrilled that our products were awarded the most innovative and successful!
Again in October 2005 we were honoured with the "Mayors Innovation Award" in Queensland for our products collectively.
LEDA Nutrition currently produces 15 gluten free products which are sold throughout Australia and overseas, through Health Food stores, Supermarkets and Schools.
